Laura graduated from the University of North Carolina Charlotte cum laude with a B.A. in Dance. While at UNCC she danced on the Charlotte 49ers Gold Dusters dance team. After graduating Laura moved to New York where she danced in several companies including RAW Artists, Mary Seidman and Dancers, Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre, Valleto Dance Company and many more. Laura has teaching experience along the east coast and is also a full time convention, whole sale and team wear manager for Jo + Jax dance wear. We are so glad to have Laura share her love for contemporary .

Madeline is a proud alumni of Starz Elite Dance Center where she spent her competition career. While at Starz she won many Regional and National first overalls and Titles. She was also featured on Dance Moms as a member of the Candy Apple team on Season 7 and appeared in Bloch’s “Dance with confidence” campaign shot by Jordan Matter. She has also modeled for both Showstopper and KAR dance competitions. She has spent the last year training at the Brea Space in California under the direction of Krista Miller. She can’t wait to share her leaps and turns secrets with you!

Interested in auditioning or becoming a member of a competitive team or dance team? Come enjoy a night with college dance team members. Dancers will learn poms skills, leaps and turns and everything needed to be on a dance team. There will be a mock audition and dancers will get critiques and feedback to improve their skills. Dancers will be divided by age and abilities. Come learn what it takes to be apart of a professional dance team.

CARISA ROSE WILSON has studied and performed various dance techniques across the United States since the age of three. She attended Appalachian State University, where she received her BFA in Dance, and was the captain and choreographer for the dance team.
Following graduation, Carisa relocated to Dallas, Texas where she became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. She appeared on CMT’s hit show, “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.” Carisa was selected for her dance ability to be a part of the DCC Show Group, which travels to perform in various countries. During her time as a cheerleader, she performed with Selena Gomez, Kenny Chesney, and One Republic. Additionally, she received an award for the choreography and performance for her solo at auditions.
Carisa now resides in Raleigh, teaching and choreographing for studios in the surrounding area. She joined the convention and adjudication faculty of Epic Dance Showcase in 2015, as well as the faculty of the Commercial Dance Intensive in 2017.

A native of North Carolina, Cheryl’s dance career began in Nashville, TN at OPRYLAND USA. After working on a cruise ship, living in Japan while dancing at TOKYO’S DISNEYLAND, and performing in the European tour of 42ND STREET, Cheryl moved to New York where she became a RADIO CITY ROCKETTE. Cheryl enjoyed performing with the ROCKETTES for 15 years where her duties included dance captain; assistant choreographer and spokesperson for nationally televised programs like The Today Show and Good Morning America. She was the co-choreographer for KICK INTO FITNESS; and choreographer for CHRISTMAS ACROSS AMERICA promotional tours, THE YANKEE PENANT PARADE and NBC’s ROCKEFELLER CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING special.
Other career credits include the Broadway National Tour of CRAZY FOR YOU and the Broadway benefit to the stars version of MACK AND MABLE starring Jerry Herman and Donna McKechnie. Cheryl also danced in the jazz company, WALKERDANCE under the direction of Chet Walker where she performed in a benefit concert for lyricist and composer, Stephen Schwartz. Cheryl currently directs a precision dance company called The Carolina Snowbelles (www.thecarolinasnowbelles.com) and operates The Space @ Project Dance in Boone, NC where dancers train in classical ballet, tap and jazz.
She is celebrating her 25th year of marriage and has two children ages 15 and 12.

Bekah Downing is originally from Charlotte NC where she began training at North Carolina Dance Theatre under the direction of Patricia McBride. She studied ballet at UNCSA from 2005-2009. Following graduation, Bekah switched to the contemporary program. In 2011 she relocated to Rotterdam, Netherlands to complete her dance education at Codarts School of the Arts. Upon receiving her BFA she remained in Europe where she worked as a freelance performer and choreographer- dancing for Lonneke Van Leth Productions and Guilia Mureddu Dance. Upon returning to the USA Bekah has continued to freelance and perform with Mari Meade Dance Company, Helen Simoneau Danse, Stewart Owen Dance, and SF Symphony Opera. She has been teaching various dance forms since 2014 and enjoys sharing her passion of movement to the next generation of dancers. Recently she presented her solo work 'Trace the Loop' at LadyFest Dance Festival in Charlotte, NC. Bekah is also on faculty at UNCSA and Wake Forest Community Ballet.

Frank Musso recently moved to Tampa, Florida from New York City. Frank grew up as an avid competition dancer under well-known choreographers like Dan Karaty, Ray Leeper, Mike Minery, Gil Stroming, Frank Hatchett, and Lisa Danias. He later went on to study Dance and Theatre Arts at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles and Montclair State University in northern New Jersey. At school, Frank had the privelege of dancing in many concert shows and began a performance career soon after. Some of Frank's professional credits include: back up dancing for various NYC pop artists, Dream Along with Mickey at Walt Disney World, The Aluminum Show 2011 Spain Tour, Flashmob America, Disney's Camp Rock & Shake It Up, Good Morning America, Broadway on Broadway, Hip Hop High The Musical at NYC Fringe Festival, Peter Pan at LaComedia Dinner Theatre, Spirit Production Ensemble Shows in Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach, Live!With Regis and Kelly, and can be seen in multiple music videos and films.
For the past decade, Frank has also been a dance educator and choreographer for studios across the country. He is also a national adjudicator for many dance competitions. In 2016, Frank founded REVEL DANCE CONVENTION, a national dance workshop and competition.

Born in Long Island, NY, Marissa Rignola grew up training at a local studio in all genres and upon graduation, was given the opportunity to perform for the New York Knicks half time show; and soon after the ASEID Contemporary Dance Company at the Dicapo Opera Theatre. Marissa continued her growth in dance by attending the pro-semester at Broadway Dance Center. Sheila Barker, Tracie Stanfield and Kat Wildish were some of Rignolas greatest mentors. Their guidance is what ignited her passion for teaching and choreography. After completing her dance residency in the city, sharing her knowledge and love of dance with the younger generations was inevitable. Through her guidance, Marissa’s students have gone on to dance professionally on Broadway in Grease & Beauty and the Beast, Radio City, Sythesis Dance Project, Cruise Lines and Universities such as Marymount, Montclair State, AMDA, RUTGERS and UCLA just to name a few. Marissa’s work has been recognized nationally at some of today’s most prestigious dance competitions. Her creativity has been described as captivating, moving and astonishing. Marissa currently holds the title of Competition Director at North Shore Dance in Long Island, NY.
